Sheriff Todd Brackett reports the following:
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded to 204 calls from March 20-27. Year to date, LCSO has responded to 3,815 calls for service.
March 21, Kimberly A. McKenna, 53, of Whitefield, was arrested for domestic violence assault, on Lilac Lane, Whitefield, by Deputy Kevin Dennison.
March 22, Devon S. Kaufman, 24, of Boothbay, was arrested for failure to comply with sex offender registry act, first offense, at the Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office, Wiscasset, by Detective Terry Michaud.
March 23, Robert F. McKinney Jr., 22, of Waldoboro, was arrested for assault, at Two Bridges Regional Jail, Wiscasset, by Deputy 1st Class Brian Collamore.
March 23, Charles F. Jewitt, 66, of Nobleboro, was arrested for two counts of violating condition of release and one count of negotiate a worthless instrument, at the Damariscotta Police Department, by Deputy Dennison.
March 24, Joseph Nania, 60, of Edgecomb, was arrested for domestic violence assault – priors, on Cross Point Road, Edgecomb, by Deputy Jonathan Colby.
March 26, Robert L. Wilkie, 55, of Boothbay, was arrested for violating condition of release, on Butler Road, Boothbay, by Deputy Ryan Chubbuck.
On March 22, an accident occurred on Bunker Hill Road in Jefferson involving Sean P. Cubbin, 28, of Newcastle. Cubbin was operating his 2010 Subaru Forester southbound when he lost control of his vehicle while rounding a corner on the snow-covered roadway and entered the ditch. As a result, his vehicle rolled over and came to rest in the southbound ditch. Reserve Deputy Michael Elwell was the investigating officer.
On March 22, an accident occurred on Harrington Road in South Bristol involving Nicole M. Boyd, 45, of Bristol. Boyd was operating her 1996 Ford Taurus eastbound when she lost control of her vehicle while rounding a corner on the snow-covered roadway. Her vehicle then crossed the centerline and entered the ditch on the left side of the road. Reserve Deputy Elwell was the investigating officer.
On March 23, an accident occurred on River Road in Edgecomb involving Spencer Yates, 19, of Newcastle, and Nathalie Gorey, 49, of Edgecomb. Yates was operating his 2017 Toyota Rav4 southbound when Gorey pulled out of the McKay Road in her 2014 Toyota Prius and struck Yates’ vehicle. As a result, Yates’ vehicle was pushed into an embankment in the northbound ditch and struck a utility pole, causing his vehicle to roll over. Deputy Chubbuck was the investigating officer.
On March 25, an accident occurred on Middle Road in Dresden involving Mark A. Cote, 56, of Gardiner. Cote was operating his 2005 Ford Explorer northbound when a deer entered the roadway from the left side and was struck. Deputy Colby was the investigating officer.
On March 25, an accident occurred on Industrial Park Road in Boothbay involving Anthony L. Merrill, 26, of Edgecomb. Merrill was backing up in his 2008 Ford E-450 in the parking lot of AC Midcoast Storage and struck the building. Reserve Deputy Dwight Fowles was the investigating officer.
