Sheriff Todd Brackett reports the following:
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded to 338 calls for service for the period of Dec. 11-18. Year to date, LCSO has responded to 16,066 calls for service.
On Dec. 15, Deputy Alonzo Connor was dispatched to a report of a theft of approximately 2 cords of wood (value: approximately $550) from a residence in the Boothbay area. Further investigation will follow if leads develop.
Dec. 14, an 11-year-old female from Boothbay was issued a juvenile summons for terrorizing by Deputy Caleb Poirier.
Dec. 15, Kyle C. Bennett, 20, of Bangor, was issued summonses for criminal mischief and assault, on Botanical Gardens Drive, Boothbay, by Deputy Poirier, who was assisted by Sgt. Aaron Beck.
Dec. 15, Matthew A. Plummer, 35, of Wiscasset, was arrested for domestic violence assault and domestic violence criminal threatening, on Heritage Lane, Wiscasset, by Deputy Jonathan Colby.
On Dec. 11, an accident occurred on Bristol Road in Bristol involving Kenneth O. Frederic, 73, of Bristol. Frederic was operating his 2005 Jeep Wrangler southbound and, due to the road conditions being slippery, he swerved into the southbound shoulder and rolled into the ditch. Deputy Ryan Chubbuck was the investigating officer.
On Dec. 13, an accident occurred on Bristol Road in Damariscotta involving Bret M. Chapman, 24, of Gardiner. Chapman was operating his 2015 Nissan Rogue northbound when a deer entered the roadway from the left side and was struck. Deputy Colby was the investigating officer.
On Dec. 13, an accident occurred on Route 129 in South Bristol involving Marie A. Lombardo, 32, of Edgecomb. Lombardo was operating her 2017 Ford Expedition northbound, rounding a corner, when she started to go onto the right-side shoulder. She then overcorrected, crossing the yellow centerline and into the southbound travel lane before coming to rest on a stonewall. Deputy 1st Class Brian Collamore was the investigating officer.
On Dec. 13, an accident occurred on Barter’s Island Road in Boothbay involving Alexander D. Bryer, 17, of Trevett. Bryer was operating his 2006 Ford F-150 westbound when he lost control and crossed the centerline. As a result, his vehicle went off the roadway and started to roll before striking a tree. Deputy Colby was the investigating officer.
On Dec. 15, an accident occurred on North Mountain Road in Jefferson involving Kaitlin R. Kennedy, 17, of Bristol. Kennedy was operating her 2006 Volkswagen Passat eastbound when she entered a slight left-hand curve and lost control of her vehicle, causing it to fishtail. Kennedy then overcorrected and this caused her vehicle to leave the roadway on the right-hand side before striking a stonewall and several trees. Reserve Deputy Neil Genthner was the investigating officer.
On Dec. 16, an accident occurred on Patterson Road in Dresden involving Valerie A. Snow-Vincent, 67, of Boothbay Harbor. Snow-Vincent was operating her 2000 Buick Lesabre southbound when two deer entered the roadway from the east side. Snow-Vincent said she was unable to swerve or stop as there were vehicles behind her and in the oncoming lane. As a result, she struck one of the deer. Deputy Andrew Miner was the investigating officer.
On Dec. 17, an accident occurred on Route 197 in Dresden involving Meghann L. O’Donnell, 39, of Wiscasset, and Lisa M. Couture, 51, of West Gardiner. Couture was operating her 2003 Toyota Matrix westbound and O’Donnell was operating her 2009 Subaru Impreza behind Couture’s vehicle. Couture slowed in traffic and O’Donnell struck the rear of her vehicle. Deputy Chad Gilbert was the investigating officer.
On Dec. 17, an accident occurred on Head Tide Hill Road in Alna involving David H. Moskovitz, 67, of Whitefield. Moskovitz was operating his 2017 Subaru Cross Trek southbound when his vehicle went off the roadway on the right side due to the snow on the ground. As a result, he slid into a ditch. Deputy Connor was the investigating officer.
