Sheriff Todd Brackett reports the following:
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded to 274 calls for service for the period of Feb. 26 to March 5. Year to date, LCSO has responded to 3,117 calls for service.
Summonses
Feb. 28, a 16-year-old male juvenile from Woolwich was issued a summons for minor consuming liquor, by Deputy David Bellows.
Feb. 28, a 16-year-old male juvenile from Bath was issued a summons for minor consuming liquor, by Deputy Bellows.
Arrests
Feb. 28, David P. Clifford, 25, of Edgecomb, was arrested for allowing minor to possess or consume liquor, on Wawenock Road, Edgecomb, by Deputy Bellows, who was assisted by Deputy Jonathan Colby.
Feb. 28, Keegan B. Giles, 19, of Boothbay, was arrested for violating condition of release and furnishing liquor to a minor, on Wawenock Road, Edgecomb, by Deputy Colby, who was assisted by Deputy Bellows.
March 1, Robert T. Jones, 50, of Dresden, was arrested for operating under the influence and motor vehicle speeding: 30-plus mph over speed limit, on Gardiner Road, Dresden, by Deputy Colby.
March 3, Christopher Donahue, 32, of Bristol, was arrested for burglary, theft by unauthorized taking, and violating conditions of release, on Bristol Road, Bristol, by Detective Scott Hayden, who was assisted by Deputy Alonzo Connor and Maine Game Warden Mark Merrifield.
March 5, Bret A. Keleher, 37, of Boothbay Harbor, was arrested for criminal threatening with a dangerous weapon, criminal mischief, domestic violence assault, obstructing report of crime, and criminal threatening, on Hendricks Hill Road, Southport, by Deputy Caleb Poirier.
Accidents
On March 2, an accident occurred on Main Road on Westport Island involving Brent T. Wright, 27, of Brunswick. Wright was operating his 2006 Chevrolet Trailblazer southbound when his vehicle was struck by a deer attempting to cross the road, causing front-end damage. Deputy Connor was the investigating officer.
On March 2, an accident occurred on Lower Cross Road in Nobleboro involving Myron R. Sawyer, 88, of Nobleboro. Sawyer was operating his 2005 Saab 9-3 westbound, approaching West Neck Road, when his vehicle left the roadway on the right side and struck several rocks. Sawyer advised he might have fallen asleep. Detective Hayden was the investigating officer.
On March 3, an accident occurred on Wildwood Shores Road in Nobleboro involving Mark A. Brown, 26, of Nobleboro. Brown was operating his 2012 Ford Escape northbound when he encountered a larger, unknown black SUV coming directly into his path. The road is very narrow and Brown skidded and turned left to avoid contact. As a result, he slid into a ditch and down an embankment slightly. Sgt. Bridgham was the investigating officer.
On March 3, an accident occurred on East Pond Road in Nobleboro involving Stacy M. Bradbury, 49, of Damariscotta. Bradbury was operating her 2014 Toyota Corolla southbound when she saw a deer enter the roadway from the eastbound ditch and run into the front driver’s side of her vehicle. Deputy Kevin Dennison was the investigating officer.
