Sheriff Todd Brackett reports the following:
The Lincoln County Sheriff’s Office responded to 261 calls for service for the period of Sept. 10-17. Year to date, LCSO has responded to 10,687 calls for service.
Summonses
Sept. 10, Augustus R. Bond, 19, of Whitefield, was issued a summons for attaching false plates, on Blinn Hill Road, Dresden, by Deputy Jonathan Colby.
Sept. 12, Joseph T. Thayer, 70, of Edgecomb, was issued a summons for criminal trespass, on Lynch Road, Newcastle, by Deputy Ryan Chubbuck.
Sept. 13, Gage J. Gagnon, 21, of Belfast, was issued a summons for operating after suspension – priors, on Wiscasset Road, Boothbay, by Deputy Daniel Sceviour.
Arrests
Sept. 12, David W. Seiders, 49, of Bristol, was arrested on a Lincoln County District Court warrant for failure to appear, on Route 1, Edgecomb, by Deputy David Bellows.
Sept. 13, Melinda S. Allen, 51, of Waldoboro, was arrested on a Lincoln County District Court warrant for failure to appear, at Two Bridges Regional Jail, Wiscasset, by Deputy Caleb Fortin.
Sept. 15, Michelle Lyons, 51, of Edgecomb, was arrested for operating under the influence, on Route 1, Edgecomb, by Sgt. Kevin Dennison.
Sept. 15, Matthew P. Osbourn, 26, of Denison, Texas, was arrested for aggravated assault and criminal mischief, on Wiscasset Road, Whitefield, by Deputy 1st Class Brian Collamore, who was assisted by Lt. Brendan Kane and Sgt. Dennison.
Sept. 17, Alfred H. Little, 68, of Nobleboro, was arrested on a probation violation, on Evergreen Estates Road, Nobleboro, by Deputy Sceviour.
Accidents
On Sept. 10, an accident occurred on East River Road in Whitefield involving Laurel J. Bouchard, 64, of Jefferson. Bouchard was operating her 2018 Volkswagen Atlas southbound when a deer entered the roadway from the left side and was struck. Deputy Colby was the investigating officer.
On Sept. 12, an accident occurred on Bath Road in Wiscasset involving Ronald M. Shellman, 45, of Waldoboro, and Carol L. Thibeault, 58, of Topsham. Shellman was attempting to park his 2006 Mercury Montego in the courthouse parking lot when he struck Thibeault’s parked 2014 Ford Fusion, which was unoccupied. Deputy Ryan Chubbuck was the investigating officer.
On Sept. 13, an accident occurred on Route 1 in Edgecomb involving Michelle M. Lyons, 51, of Edgecomb. Lyons was operating her 2002 Ford Taurus northbound when she attempted a right-hand turn and entered the northbound ditch. Sgt. Dennison was the investigating officer.
On Sept. 14, an accident occurred on Head Tide Road in Alna involving Jami L. Driscoll, 29, of Richmond. Driscoll was operating her 2001 Ford Escape northbound when she went off the roadway on the right side and struck a standing well. Deputy Colby was the investigating officer.
On Sept. 14, an accident occurred on Bristol Road in Bristol involving Mark A. Zaccadelli, 25, of Bristol, and Mary R. Trescot, 75, of Damariscotta. Zaccadelli’s 2017 Dodge Durango was legally parked on the side of the roadway, next to the Bristol town office. Trescot was backing out of a parking spot at Deb’s Bristol Diner in her 2006 Toyota Tacoma when she misjudged the distance and the rear passenger-side bumper struck the left front of Zacadelli’s unattended vehicle. Deputy 1st Class Collamore was the investigating officer.
On Sept. 16, an accident occurred on Ridge Road in Newcastle involving Zachary T. Morse, 28, of Harpswell. Morse was operating his 2015 Nissan Pathfinder southbound when a deer entered the roadway from the east side. Morse was unable to stop in time and struck the deer with the front passenger corner of his vehicle. Deputy Andrew Miner was the investigating officer.
