Accidents
Sept. 26: Officer Thomas Bartunek investigated an accident on Finntown Road at 7:27 p.m. Cameron Allaire, 17, of Washington, was driving a 2003 Honda north on Finntown Road when a deer crossed the roadway in front of the vehicle and the vehicle struck the deer.
Oct. 2: Officer Jeffery Fuller investigated an accident in the Hannaford parking lot. Dorcelle Brown, 74, of Nobleboro, was driving a 2014 Jeep. Cynthia Laine, 76, of Jefferson, was driving a 2017 Hyundai sedan. Brown failed to yield the right-of-way to Laine and struck the Laine vehicle in the side as it passed.
Investigations
Sept. 26: Officer Fuller investigated a complaint of criminal mischief regarding the egging of two vehicles the previous night.
Sept. 27: Officer Larry Hesseltine investigated a complaint of criminal mischief regarding the spray-painting of a residence.
Officers responded to 145 calls for service.
