The Waldoboro Police Department reports the following activity from Oct. 18-24:
Dean Davis, 29, Waldoboro, warrant, Oct. 21.
Philip Libby, 30, Waldoboro, warrant, Oct. 18.
Oct. 19: Officer Thomas Bartunek investigated an accident on Winslows Mills Road at 6:36 p.m. Martin Grogoza, 61, of Waldoboro, was driving a 2009 Subaru sedan north on Winslows Mills Road. A deer was crossing the roadway. The vehicle struck the deer.
Oct. 20: Officer Bartunek investigated an accident in the Hannaford parking lot. George Gendron, 34, of Thomaston, was driving a 2006 Chevrolet pickup truck through the parking lot. He did not see a light pole and struck the light pole. There was no visible damage to the base of the light pole.
Oct. 18: Officer Larry Hesseltine investigated a report of theft.
Oct. 23: Officer Jeffery Fuller investigated a report from Family Dollar of the theft of headphones.
Oct. 23: Officer Fuller investigated a report that someone used the complainant’s debit card to purchase $305.95 worth of items in Auburn.
Waldoboro officers responded to 94 calls for service.
