The Waldoboro Police Department reports the following activity for the period of Sept. 25-29:
Shawn Brewer, 35, Waldoboro, warrant, Sept. 27.
Sept. 25: Officer Thomas Bartunek investigated an accident in the Irving parking lot at 6:49 p.m. Jeffrey Wright, 64, of Nobleboro, was driving a GMC pickup truck. Robert Keene, 46, of Union, was driving a 2002 Toyota sedan. The vehicles collided in the parking lot.
Sept. 26: Officer Jeffery Fuller investigated an accident on Jefferson Street at 2:56 p.m. James Letteney, 35, of Waldoboro, was driving a 2010 Toyota sedan. Leah Murdoch, 31, of Nobleboro, was driving a 2011 Ford sedan. Letteney was backing out of a parking space onto Jefferson Street and failed to yield the right of way to the oncoming Murdoch vehicle.
Sept. 29: Officer Fuller investigated an accident on Winslows Mills Road at 9:11 a.m. William Robinson, 90, of Waldoboro, was driving a 2004 Saturn utility vehicle. Ruth Barter, 79, of Jefferson, was driving a 2012 Nissan sedan. Robinson backed out of a driveway and struck the Barter vehicle.
Sept. 29: Officer Fuller investigated an accident on Atlantic Highway at 9:55 a.m. Ellie Adams, 35, of Warren, was driving a 2010 Harley-Davidson motorcycle. She hit a lip in the pavement in a work zone and lost control of the motorcycle.
Sept. 29: Officer Fuller investigated an accident at Kaler’s Corner at 1:03 p.m. Connie Alvarado, 50, of Farmingdale, was driving a 2005 Buick sedan. Michael Dodge, 25, of Rockland, was driving a 2012 Chevrolet sedan. Alvarado failed to yield the right of way to the oncoming Dodge vehicle, striking the Dodge vehicle in the front.
Sept. 24: Officer Fuller investigated a report of a theft of tools from a job site.
Sept. 28: Officer Justin Hills investigated a report of a theft of a wallet and medication.
Officers responded to 143 calls for service.
