Matthew Shay, 42, Waldoboro, warrant, Jan. 4.
Amber Chaisty, 27, Waldoboro, criminal mischief, Jan. 10.
Kenneth Dunn, 33, Waldoboro, uninspected motor vehicle, Jan. 13.
Tyler Larue, 17, Waldoboro, operating without a license, Jan. 9.
Steven Ward Jr., 43, Warren, operating after suspension, Jan. 8.
Jan. 1: Officer Thomas Bartunek investigated an accident in a parking lot on Atlantic Highway at 4:58 p.m. David Mank, 74, of Bremen, was driving a 2017 Ford pickup truck. Mank was off the road, making an improper turn, and struck a legally parked and unattended 2013 Volkswagen sedan owned by Carol Poulin, 69, of Waldoboro.
Jan. 1: Officer Nathaniel Jack investigated an accident on Bremen Road at 8:30 a.m. George Ganson, 35, of Round Pond, was driving a 2012 GMC pickup truck north and went off the road.
Jan. 1: Officer Bartunek investigated an accident on Old Augusta Road at 5:20 p.m. James Letteney, 36, of Waldoboro, was driving a 2015 Toyota utility vehicle east. A deer entered the road and Letteney was unable to avoid it.
Jan. 2: Officer Andrew Santheson investigated an accident at the intersection of Atlantic Highway and Manktown Road at 11:12 a.m. Melissa Ingling, 32, of Warren, was driving a 2012 Chrysler van on Manktown Road, stopped at the intersection. Denise Bizer, 51, of Waldoboro, was driving a 2017 Ford sedan south on Atlantic Highway. Ingling did not see Bizer coming as she turned left onto Atlantic Highway. Bizer saw Ingling making the turn and tried to go out around her, but was not successful.
Jan. 3: Chief John Lash investigated an accident on Winslows Mills Road at 8:43 a.m. Cindy Dennison, 62, of Warren, was driving a 2008 Nissan sedan south when she lost control of the vehicle at the railroad tracks. The vehicle slid off the road and entered a small brook.
Jan. 4: Officer Jack investigated an accident on Feylers Corner Road at 12:40 a.m. John Lohnes, 61, of Waldoboro, was driving a 2012 Suzuki sedan north when a deer ran out in front of his vehicle. He was unable to stop, due to icy conditions, and struck the deer.
Jan. 4: Officer Jeffery Fuller investigated an accident on Manktown Road at 1:26 p.m. Susan Overlock, 70, of Waldoboro, was driving a 2012 Ford utility vehicle. The vehicle crossed the centerline and continued off the roadway, striking a utility pole and several small trees before coming to rest on its driver’s side against two small trees.
Jan. 7: Officer Fuller investigated an accident at the intersection of Atlantic Highway and Union Road at 1:54 p.m. Staci Murray, 37, of Waldoboro, was driving a 2015 Chevrolet sedan, stopped at the stop sign on Union Road. Roy Hatch, 51, of Waldoboro, was driving a 2017 Jeep utility vehicle south on Atlantic Highway. Murray failed to yield the right of way to Hatch.
Jan. 9: Chief Lash investigated an accident on Ralph Wink Road at 1:13 p.m. Tyler Larue, 17, of Waldoboro, was driving a 2007 Dodge utility vehicle east, exceeding the posted speed limit. The vehicle went off the road, causing damage to the vehicle.
Jan. 11: Sgt. Jamie Wilson investigated an accident on Main Street at 5:49 p.m. Sherrie Hannan, 58, of Damariscotta, was driving a 2011 Chevrolet sedan west when a deer ran into the roadway and she was unable to avoid it. The vehicle struck the deer, causing front-end damage.
Dec. 31: Officer Fuller investigated a complaint of a theft of a regulator for a propane tank.
Jan. 9: Chief Lash investigated a report from the Waldoboro Laundromat that someone damaged its door.
Jan. 10: Officer Fuller investigated a report from Subway of a burglary.
Jan. 10: Officer Fuller investigated a report from C.N. Brown of a theft of money.
Jan. 11: Officer Fuller investigated a report of a possible theft of fuel oil.
Officers responded to 256 calls for service.
