The Waldoboro Police Department reports the following activity for the period of April 3-15:
Ricky Coffin, 35, Rockland, operating after suspension, warrant, April 12.
Todd Dodge, 46, Waldoboro, warrant, April 4.
Henry Watson, 18, Warren, warrant, April 8.
April 9: Officer Justin Hills investigated an accident on Washington Road at 2:53 p.m. Preston Vang, 19, of Waldoboro, was driving a 2005 Pontiac sedan south, exceeding the speed limit. Vang lost control of the vehicle, which went off the road, damaging a lawn and running over a mailbox.
April 13: Officer Jeffery Fuller investigated an accident on Main Street at 11:06 a.m. Gloria Ellis, 78, of Waldoboro, was driving a 2007 Chrysler sedan south when a deer ran out and struck the front quarter panel of the vehicle.
April 14: Officer Dwight Jones investigated an accident at the intersection of Friendship Street, Jefferson Street, and Main Street at 8:40 p.m. Lisa Gibson, 46, of Steuben, was driving a 2019 Dodge pickup truck down Main Street. Shana York, 43, of Damariscotta, was driving a 2018 Ford pickup truck south on Jefferson Street and stopped at the stop sign. York proceeded through the stop sign to cross Main Street and struck the Gibson vehicle.
April 15: Officer Thomas Bartunek investigated an accident at the intersection of Cross Street and Wagner Bridge Road at 7:43 p.m. Maitland Williams, 37, of Bremen, was driving a 2004 Chevrolet pickup truck. Williams turned onto Cross Street, headed west, from Wagner Bridge Road. Williams lost control of the vehicle in the rain and went off the road on the left, striking a tree.
Officers responded to 300 calls for service.
