A Wiscasset man died and his wife was injured in a two-car collision on Middle Road in Sabattus the evening of Sunday, Feb. 5, according to the Sun Journal.
Golden Baise, 58, was pronounced dead at the scene. His wife and passenger in the vehicle, Dawn Baise, 50, was transported to Central Maine Medical Center in Lewiston, where she was treated and released, a hospital spokesperson said.
Golden Baise was operating a 2016 Ford Edge SUV on Middle Road when it collided head-on with a 2008 Toyota Tundra operated by Robbie Robbins, 38, of Harpswell, at about 5:26 p.m. Sunday, according to the Sun Journal.
Robbins was also transported to Central Maine Medical Center, where he was treated and released, a hospital spokesperson said.
The accident is under investigation, according to the Sun Journal.
