Accidents
Nov. 1: Officers responded to a non-reportable motor-vehicle accident on Federal Street. Louanne Story, 62, of Whitefield, was driving south on Federal Street when a deer ran into her vehicle before running off.
Nov. 5: Officers responded to a non-reportable motor-vehicle accident on Bradford Road. Allary Grasso, 29, of Woolwich, lost control of her vehicle on Bradford Road due to distracted driving. Officers had the vehicle towed.
Other activity
Oct. 30: Officers assisted a citizen on Bath Road, received a complaint of theft on Bath Road, received a complaint of erratic operations on Boothbay Road (unable to locate), responded to a burglar alarm on Twin Rivers Drive (building secure), and gave a warning for operation on Main Street.
Oct. 31: Officers responded to a false burglar alarm on Twin Rivers Drive, conducted traffic control at Wiscasset Elementary School and gave a warning, received a complaint of suspicious activity on Birch Point Road, assisted a citizen on Birch Point Road, received an assault complaint on Oxhorn Road (officer investigating), received a complaint of theft on Boulder Road, assisted another agency on Indian Road, and initiated a motor-vehicle stop on Federal Street (no violations).
Nov. 1: Officers responded to a 911 check on Main Street, assisted another agency on West Alna Road, gave a warning for speed on Alna Road, conducted traffic control at Wiscasset Elementary School and gave a warning for speed, received a complaint of erratic operations on Bath Road (unable to locate), assisted a citizen at the police department with a concealed weapons permit, and received a complaint of erratic operations southbound on Route 1 (officer gave verbal warning).
Nov. 2: Officers gave a warning for speed on Alna Road, followed up with an assault complaint on Oxhorn Road, conducted a welfare check on Federal Street, assisted a citizen on Alna Road with a concealed weapons permit, and investigated a violation of bail conditions on Bath Road.
Nov. 3: Officers initiated traffic control at Wiscasset Elementary School and gave a warning for speeding, received a complaint of erratic operations on Bath Road, assisted with escort/transport services, and received a request for a protection-from-abuse service on Fowle Hill Road.
Nov. 4: Officers conducted community policing at the police department by fingerprinting a resident for employment, assisted a citizen on the White’s Island mud flats, received a complaint of erratic operations at Route 1 and Cross Road, responded to a complaint of a traffic hazard regarding a large animal being hit on Gardiner Road, responded to a non-reportable motor-vehicle accident involving a deer on Federal Street, and assisted another agency with a medical emergency on Heritage Lane.
Nov. 5: Officers received a complaint of trespassing on Chewonki Neck Road, assisted a citizen with a VIN verification on Old Bath Road, assisted the Sagadahoc County Sheriff’s Office with a complaint of erratic operations on Route 1, and responded to a complaint of suspicious activity on Pleasant Street.
