The Town of Alna is accepting bids for a snow removal and sanding contract for three (3) years. Contract will be effective beginning this winter, October 2017 through April, 2020. The Town of Alna will supply the sand and salt. Total Mileage is 29 miles. Bids must be in writing, in an envelope marked “Town of Alna Snow Removal and Sanding Bid” and can be delivered to the Town Office or mailed to Town of Alna 1568 Alna Road, Alna ME 04535 by 6pm on May 24, 2017. Please contact the Alna Town Office at alna@tidewater.net or 586-5313 for bid specifications. Bids shall include price per mile, list of proposed equipment and manpower to be used and proof of liability insurance. Equipment must be available for inspection within 60 days of contract award. Bids will be open and viewed at the May 24th Selectmen’s meeting at 7pm. The Selectmen reserve the right to reject any and all bids.
