The Commissioner has issued a three-year lease, DAM GPx, on 0.57 acres located northeast of Glidden Point, Damariscotta River, Newcastle, Maine for the suspended culture of American/Eastern oysters. The lease must be marked in accordance with both U.S. Coast Guard requirements and DMR rule 2.80. Other public uses that are not inconsistent with the purposes of the lease are permitted within the lease boundaries, pursuant to lease statutes, 12 MRS §§ 6072, 6072-A, & 6072-B.
