The Commissioner is considering an application to renew for three (3) years to May 31, 2021 a 0.06-acre lease, DAM BP, located south of Blackstone Point, Damariscotta River, Damariscotta, Maine, held by the Damariscotta River Association for the purposes of cultivating American/Eastern oysters, soft clams, and northern quahogs/hard clams using bottom and suspended culture techniques.
The lessee would be bound by the terms and conditions of the existing lease. A public hearing is not required unless requested by twenty-five (25) or more interested persons. Written comments or requests for a hearing, including a statement of the reasons for the request, must be submitted on or before September 13, 2018 to the address below.
