A public scoping session will be conducted by Pemaquid Oyster Company, Inc. and the Department of Marine Resources on a proposed aquaculture lease application for bottom culture of American oysters located adjacent to their existing bottom leases by the Goose Ledges, Damariscotta River. If the April 13, 2017 scoping session is postponed, it will be held on April 20 2017 at the same time and location, and a notice will be posted at www.maine.gov/dmr/index.html, under “Meetings.”
The session provides an opportunity for the public to learn about the proposed lease and to have an informal discussion
with the applicant about this proposal. A scoping session provides for open discussion and is not an adjudicatory hearing.
