Medomak Valley High School is announcing the cumulative academic records for the classes of 2004 and 2005 will be destroyed beginning November 1, 2016. Federal regulation – under the Family Educational Privacy Act (FERPA) – stipulates rights to these records transfer to students upon turning 18. As such, records will only be released to students with appropriate identification (license, passport, etc.) or to parents of students who present both signed permission from their student and appropriate identification. Students who graduated in 2004 or 2005 who would like to have possession of their cumulative record should call the Registrar at 832-5389 ext 112. Note: Permanent high school transcript will be maintained in perpetuity.
