The Board of Selectmen of the Town of Waldoboro will accept sealed bids on the following tax acquired properties.
ITEM 1) Town Map R14, Lot 24A, land only, 0.30 acres, located at 930 Union Road, formerly owned by Calderwood, Daniel 1/3 William 1/3 Alice Benner 1/3.
ITEM 2) Town Map R10, Lot 5, 24 acres, land and buildings, located at 2844 Friendship Road, formerly owned by Carol S. Clinton Heirs.
ITEM 3) Town Map R17, Lot 43A, mobile home only, located at 1981 Winslows Mills Road, formerly owned by Matthew Dixon & Kathleen Collamore.
ITEM 4) Town Map R14, Lot 3, land only, .73 acres, located at 620 Union Road, formerly owned by Seumas Fletcher.
ITEM 5) Town Map R22, Lot 43B, land only, 5.00 acres, located at Jefferson town line, formerly owned by Lisa Jeran.
ITEM 6) Town Map U2, 20A-16, mobile home only, located at 400 Friendship Road Lot 16, formerly owned by Angela Johnson.
ITEM 7) Town Map R13, Lot 9A, 1.07 acres, land and buildings, located at 62 Manktown Road, formerly owned by Richard A. Kennedy Heirs.
ITEM 8) Town Map R5, Lot 72, land only, 1.08 acres, located at 401 Main Street, formerly owned by Frederick Newcomb.
ITEM 9) Town Map R15, Lot 69A, building only, located at 40 Campbell Hill Road, formerly, Larry Wellman Jr & Angela – now formerly Roy & Vickie Elliott.
Bids will be accepted at the Town Office at 1600 Atlantic Highway, Waldoboro, Maine until 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, July 28, 2016, at which time they will be publicly opened. The Board of Selectmen is anticipated to award the bid on August 9, 2016 at 6:00 p.m. Each bid shall be plainly mark “Bid on Tax Acquired Property” and shall identify the specific Item Number as shown above.
The Selectmen reserve the right to reject any or all bids, should it be in the best interest of the Town. In the event that two or more bids are received in like amounts, and they are the highest bids submitted, the bid first received will be accepted as the highest bid. The person being awarded the bid shall pay the Town of Waldoboro, in full, no later than Thursday, August 18, 2016.
