Please join the Maine Department of Transportation (MaineDOT) at a preliminary public meeting to discuss the ledge removal and
fi ll removal in the navigation channel of the Gut Bridge (#2339), which carries Route 129 over the Gut in South Bristol, Maine.
Representatives of MaineDOT will be present on Wednesday, December 6, 2017 at 6:00 p.m. to share information on the upcoming project, listen to concerns, receive comments, and answer questions from anyone with an interest in the project.
MaineDOT is particularly interested in learning local views relative to project consistency with local comprehensive plans, discovering local resources, and identifying local concerns and issues. Anyone with an interest is invited to attend and participate in the meeting.
The project may involve short term closures of Route 129 and closures of the navigation channel.
