The Municipal Officers of the Town of Damariscotta will hold a Special Town Meeting: Secret Ballot Election on Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at 8:00 AM at the Town Office located at 21 School Street, then and there to act upon Article 1 and by secret ballot on Articles 2 and 3 as set out below, the polls for voting on the Articles will be open at 8:00 A.M. and will close at 8:00 P.M.
ARTICLE 1. To choose a Moderator to preside at said meeting.
ARTICLE 2. To elect by secret ballot in accordance with the vote of the Town, the following officers: One Selectman/Assessors/
Overseers of the Poor (for the remainder of a three year term to expire in June 2020)
ARTICLE 3. Shall an Ordinance entitled “Damariscotta Moratorium” be enacted? Copies of the proposed ordinance are on file with the Town Clerk and have been posted with this warrant.
All Damariscotta residents are invited to attend.
