The Planning Board is holding a public hearing on the following:
– Proposed amendment to the Damariscotta Shoreland Zoning Ordinance, Section 15.B.4.a. for allowing flood proofing
non-residential structures up to three feet above the Base Flood Elevation (BFE) in lieu of elevating the lowest floor to three feet above the BFE. Flood proofed non-residential structures would be allowed to have their lowest floor one foot above the BFE.
All interested parties are invited to attend.
