On Sat., June 24th between 11:30 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. in the area of the Damariscotta River near Schooner Landing Restaurant and Marina there will be a discharge of cannon and muskets.
The activity is in association with the Pirate Rendezvous fundraiser, and should not be cause for alarm.
All activity conducted will be within parameters issued by the United States Coast Guard and all local authorities.
Proceeds from the Pirate Rendezvous benefit the Ecumenical Food Pantry, Jefferson Village School Blessings in a Backpack and Wiscasset Feed Our Scholars.
