The Damariscotta Board of Selectmen will hold a Public Hearing & a Special Town Meeting on March 21, 2018 at 5:30 p.m. at the Municipal Office located at 21 School Street.
The public hearing is for the following: A proposed purchase/sale agreement for a land area that includes the present location of a barbershop, adjacent to the Municipal Parking Lot, that will be used as the location for a municipal restroom and visitors’ kiosk.
The Special Town Meeting will be held to vote on the following:
– To choose a Moderator
– Shall the Town vote to enact changes to the existing Shoreland Zoning Ordinance of November 16, 2016 to substitute for the
elevation of non-residential structures
– A proposed purchase/sale agreement for a land area that includes the present location of a barbershop, adjacent to the Municipal Parking Lot that will be used as the location for a municipal restroom and visitors’ kiosk.
All interested parties are welcome to attend and Damariscotta Voters are welcome to vote
