The Great Salt Bay Sanitary District has 100 fire hydrants that we flush for maintenance twice a year. This process will
begin May 1st, our crews will be out flushing during the day to start and later in the month we’ll switch to night flushing. If
you notice this activity in your area please refrain from using water until flushing is complete. If you notice a discoloration
of your water flush your cold water until it clears up.
