The Town of Damariscotta is accepting sealed bids for a 2008 Ford F350, 1-ton, 4X4, truck, VIN-1FDWF37R98ED06915,
V-8 turbo diesel engine, 8’ Fisher Plow, electric/hydraulic Dump Body. The vehicle may be viewed between 10:00a.m. & 1:00p.m. at the Town Sand & Salt Shed located at 73 Heater Rd, please call Road Commissioner, Hugh Priebe at 207-691-6001 to schedule an appointment. Sealed bids marked ‘2008 Ford F350 Truck Bid’ must be submitted to: Matt Lutkus, Town Manager 21 School Street, Damariscotta, ME 04543, no later than 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 16th, 2018 at which time bids will be opened. Bids will be awarded at the Board of Selectmen’s Meeting on Wednesday, July 25th 2018 at 5:30 p.m. Successful bidder shall remit full bid price upon transfer of ownership, and delivery of vehicle will be within 30 days of transfer of ownership.
There is an undisclosed minimum reserve amount for the bid, which will be announced immediately before opening of bids.
The Town reserves the right to accept or reject any and all bids.
