Sealed bids will be accepted by the Town of Nobleboro on the following tax acquired properties.
ITEM 1) Town Map 002, Lot 005, 7.42 acres, Land Only, located at West Neck Road Rear, formerly
Owned by Estate of Lois & Edward Hodgdon.
ITEM 2) Town Map 002-, Lot 007-G, 1 acre, Land Only, Located at 16 Hutchings Road, formerly
Owned by Rodney and Cheryl Crockett.
ITEM 3) Town Map 014, Lot 011, 1.70 acres, Land Only, Located at 20 Quail Lane, formerly
Owned by Lawrence W Jones.
–Last day bids will be accepted at the Nobleboro Town Office, 192 US Highway 1, Nobleboro, Maine 04555 will be on Monday, November 18, 2019 no later than 4:30. Each bid shall be in a sealed envelope and they shall be “clearly” marked “BID ON TAX ACQUIRED PROPERTY” and shall identify the specific item number as shown above on the front of the sealed envelope. Inside your bid will need to include: the amount of bid, your mailing address, phone number, Item number and date. Faxed or emailed bids will not be accepted. If the highest bids are equal, the bid first received shall be considered the highest bid.
–Bids will be opened publicly and will be considered at the Board of Selectmen’s meeting on Wednesday, November 20, 2019 @ 4:30 pm at the Nobleboro Town Office. The Selectmen reserve the right to reject
any or all bids.
–Full payment for awarded bids shall be made out to the Town of Nobleboro no later than December 2, 2019.
The Town will issue quitclaim deeds without consent and shall not be responsible for any conditions of
the property, liens or any personal property that may be present.
