The Waldoboro Board of Selectmen will be holding a public hearing on Tuesday, March 13, 2018 at 6:00 in the evening at the Waldoboro Municipal Building, 1600 Atlantic Highway in Waldoboro to obtain public comment on the March 27, 2018 Special Town Meeting Warrant Articles.
Article 2. Shall an ordinance entitled “SHARED SOLID WASTE DISPOSAL AND REQUIRED RECYCLING ORDINANCE TOWNS OF CUSHING, FRIENDSHIP AND WALDOBORO” be enacted? A copy of the proposed ordinance is posted with this warrant and is on file at the Office of the Town Clerk for public inspection.
Article 3. Shall an Agreement entitled “CUSHING/FRIENDSHIP/WALDOBORO SHARED SERVICES AGREEMENT FOR SOLID WASTE DISPOSAL FACILITIES” be authorized? A copy of the proposed agreement is posted with this warrant and is on file at the Office of the Town Clerk for public inspection.
All interested persons are invited to attend the public hearing and will be given an opportunity to be heard at that time.
