Public input meeting for the Dutch Neck Marine Landing with Gartley & Dorsky
Notice is hereby given that the Town of Waldoboro will hold a public hearing on:
July 22, 2019
At 6:00 p.m. at the
Municipal Town Office
1600 Atlantic Highway, Waldoboro Maine 04572
The purpose of the public hearing is to receive public comments on the possible improvements to the Dutch Neck Marine Park Landing. This is the start of the engineering design phase of the project. The Town of Waldoboro authorized Gartley & Dorsky for this project, and will have a representative attend the meeting to receive feedback from the public to consider the improvements listed in the Town’s RFP, including replacement of the concrete slabs; widening the launch; address the stormwater drainage in the landing/ parking area; and to divert traffic to not have recreational use interfere with commercial use.
A copy of the Waldoboro RFP and Gartley & Dorsky response will be on file during normal business hours. All interested persons are invited to attend the public hearing and will be given an opportunity to be heard at that time.
