Midcoast Maine Community Action currently has openings in Head Start, for children ages 3-5, and Early Head Start, ages 0-3, in Waldoboro and Newcastle, as well as public pre-K programs in Somerville and Whitefield.
Head Start offers full day-care and curriculum for developing little minds through play and teacher support. The Head Start programs also offer a home visiting program for expecting families through children age 3.
Applications are being accepted for the current school year, which runs through the end of July, and for the fall programming openings, starting in August.
