Each year in the spring, our students participate in the state testing called the Maine Educational Assessment. It is beneficial to students to have a good night’s sleep and a healthy breakfast, and to come to school relaxed! In order to not overwhelm our students, we test the kids over the course of several days. Grades five through eight will test on Tuesday-Thursday, March 21-23 and Tuesday and Wednesday, March 28 and 29. Grades three and four will test on Tuesday-Thursday, March 28-30 and Tuesday-Thursday, April 4-6. Makeup sessions will be held for students that miss scheduled times.
JVS PTA
This year’s Jubilee will be held on Friday, May 5. PTA members are in full preparation for this year’s Jubilee. If anyone has any questions regarding this year’s Jubilee, contact Kristi Bisset in the office at 549-7491 ext. 120.
The next PTA meeting is scheduled for Tuesday, April 4 at 6 p.m.
