Each student will be involved in two different activities that day. There will be five activities going on, including cleaning the gardens, planting new seeds, building vertical planters, cleaning up the school, repainting the playground area, setting up recycling centers for the classroom, and creating a composting system.

FARMS visit
The Pathways Crew had a fabulous visit from FARMS (Focus on Agriculture in Rural Maine Schools) Kitchen. We learned about Middle Eastern food and got to make chana masala, which is made with chickpeas, roti flatbread, and mango lassi (a smoothie). Not only did the class have a blast preparing and cooking all this food, but students also learned how to set the table and enjoy each other’s company and eat together.
