Senior class fundraiser
The senior class is selling calendar raffle tickets. Tickets are $5 each or 3 for $10. Tickets that are sold are returned to MVHS, where they are entered into drawings for prizes each day through March 3. Tickets can be purchased from any member of the senior class. The proceeds will go to benefit the senior class trip.
Regional College Night
Regional College Night will be held at the Samoset Resort in Rockport from 6:30-8:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Feb. 1. There will be presentations from college admissions and financial aid officials on researching colleges, financial aid, selective college admissions, community colleges, the University of Maine System, career trends, and local college options. These workshops are intended to help students and parents with the process of selecting, applying to, and paying for college. Counselors from Camden Hills, Medomak Valley, and Oceanside high schools will be at the event to answer questions and to discuss the process at their individual schools. Contact the MVHS guidance office with any questions. The snow date for this event is Thursday, Feb. 2.
