Summer camps! It might only be January but summer camps start accepting applications soon. Every year, Miller School gets two applications for two students in third through sixth grade to attend Camp Susan Curtis for two weeks in Stoneham. The cost is only $30. Applicants should be eligible for free or reduced lunch and have transportation to and from camp. Registration begins Wednesday, Feb. 1 and is on a first-come, first-served basis.
Later in the spring, Miller School will receive 25 applications for students ages seven through 12 to attend Camp Sebago in Standish for one week. The cost is only $30 per child and transportation is provided. Those applications will be due in May. Please let me know if you are interested in either of these camp programs by calling me at 832-2103, and I will get the applications to you and help you apply.
