March 31 is National Crayon Day
By Sara Flewelling
Did you know that March 31 is National Crayon Day?
The first- and second-grade classroom will be collecting gently used crayons throughout the month. With the help of a parent, we have learned about this awesome opportunity to help out other schools who may be in need. Crayons should be in fairly good condition.
Think about those crayons they hand out at restaurants and then throw away once the customer leaves. Instead of leaving them behind, take them with you and then donate them to our class. We will pay it forward by making sure others less fortunate in this world are able to color creatively.
For more information, go to crayoncollection.org.
Teacher workshop days
Teacher workshop days will be on Thursday, March 14 and Friday, March 15. There will be no school for students on those days.
Little League
Monday, March 11 is the date for Little League signups, from 5-6 p.m.
