Izzy Zaidi, of Newcastle, graduated from Colby College in Waterville on Sunday, May 21 with a bachelor’s degree in sociology. Former U.S. Vice President Joe Biden was the commencement speaker at the graduation ceremony.
Zaidi graduated from Lincoln Academy in 2013. In the fall, she will start a master’s program in public health at Imperial College London.
