Union Farm 13 – Wiscasset Bay 3
Union Farm Equipment defeated Wiscasset Bay 13-3 by five inning mercy ruling in Babe Ruth action on June 17. Nathan Emerson collected the win and Ryan Creamer the save.
Tempers flared at the game when Wiscasset coach Eddie Crocker and a Union fan went nose to nose over a call at third base where a player dropped the ball after his arm was slid into. Crocker spent the rest of the game in the dugout and the fan was ejected.
Wiscasset took a 1-0 lead in the top of the first on singles to Ronald Drake and Carter Babcock. Union batted around for eight runs in the home half of the inning at Medomak Valley. Ryan Creamer, Jordan Powell, Travis Wyman, and Eli McCollett had hits in the inning.
Wiscasset scored a run in the second when Hunter Crocker was hit by a pitch and scored.
Union added a run in the second when Powell walked and scored and a run in the fourth when Wyatt Fillmore walked and scored.
Wiscasset added a run in the fifth when Logan Orr was hit by a pitch and Crocker hit a single.
Union ended the game early in the fifth with three runs. Quinn Ashmore singled, Creamer walked, Emerson singled, and Fillmore hit a walk off double.
Hitting for Union were Wyman with two singles, Fillmore a double, and Ashmore, McCollett, Creamer, Emerson, and Powell a single each. Hitting for Wiscasset were Babcock with a double and single, and Ronald Drake and Crocker a single each.

Georges Valley Babe Ruth defeated Waldoboro 12-4 on June 19. Michael Dougherty collected the win (5I,3R,5H,5K,2B). Sam Townsend (1/3I,1R,4B) and Logan Sheridan (1 2/3I,3K) pitched in relief. Sheridan came in with the bases loaded and pitched out of the jam for the save.
Pitching for Waldoboro were Michael Simmons, Kevin White, and Andrew Pruell.
Maguire LeBlanc hit a bases loaded double for 3 RBI in Georges Valley’s seven run third inning. Mitchell Del Frate hit a two run single in the fourth.
Waldoboro scored three runs in the fourth, highlighted by a Brett Collamore RBI single, a Kody Pruyne RBI triple and a Ben Dever RBI single.
Georges Valley added three runs in the seventh on a Dougherty RBI single, LeBlanc RBI ground out, and a Medomak throwing error.
Hitting for Waldoboro were Brett Stewart with two singles, Kody Pruyne a RBI triple and Brett Collamore and Ben Dever a single each. Nick Hill added an RBI with a bases loaded walk in the sixth.
Hitting for Georges Valley were Uriah Thongsophone with a double and single, Logan Sheridan and Mitchell Del Frate two singles each, Maguire LeBlanc a double, and Connor Harvey, Michael Dougherty, Cody Ward, Carter Fogerty, and Caleb Powell a single each.

Brent Stewart pitched a no-hitter
(2B,6K) to lead Waldoboro to their first win of the season Monday night, 4-1 over Union Farm Equipment.
Stewart drove in a run with a single during a four run second inning. Ryan Creamer threw 3 2/3 scoreless innings in relief for Union.
Damariscotta 9 – Waldoboro 6
The Damariscotta Lions collected their fifth win of the season on a rainy evening, 9-6 over Waldoboro.
Damariscotta reliever Jon Pinkham collected the win (1 1/3I, 2K, 4B, 1H, 1R). Also pitching was starter Bradley Cross (2I, 3K, 1B, 3H, 2R), Sullivan Fink (1I, 0K, 2B, 2H, 3R) and Gus Hunt (2 2/3I, 6K, 1B, 0H, 0R). Taking the loss was A. Pruell (5I, 2K, 5B, 10H, 7R) and pitching in relief for Waldoboro was Brett Collamore (2I, 2K, 4B, 5H, 2R).
Waldoboro took a 2-0 lead in the first inning when Wyatt Post and Darius Pierpont scored on a Kevin White single. The Lions scored one run in the second and three in the third to take a 4-2 lead. Bradley Cross, Basel White, and Jon Pinkham hit singles in the rally.
Waldoboro came back with a run in the fourth to pull within one, 4-3.
Sullivan Fink and Gus Hunt scored on a Quincy Perry double to give the Lions a 6-3 lead. Pinkham scored on a Matthew Leeman single.
In the bottom of the fifth, Waldoboro’s White reached on a walk and Ken Pruyne and Ben Dever on singles. They advanced and scored on errors to pull within one, 7-6.
Damariscotta added one run in the sixth and one in the seventh.
Hitting for the Lions were Pinkham with four singles, Cross three singles, Perry a double and a single, Matthew Leeman and Basel White two singles each, and Gus Hunt and Oakley Oliver one single each. Hitting for Waldoboro were Ben Dever with two singles and Post, Pierpont, White, and Ken Pruyne a single each.
