Damariscotta scored one run in the 3rd when Dylan Leavitt singled, stole second and scored on a fielder’s choice from Josh Cross in a hard collision with Newcastle catcher Merritt Wotton. They added two runs in the 4th. Jeff Chaney walked, Geno Wentworth and Israel Daiute singled and Ryley Leavitt doubled in the rally.
Newcastle tied the score in the home half of the 4th. Bo McLain hit a lead-off homerun. Brandon Bonney reached on an error Mitchell Wotton walked and both scored. Brandon Reilly hit a walk-off two run homerun, scoring Leeman in the 7th for the game winner.
Hitting for Newcastle were McLain and Rielly with a homerun each, and Leeman a single. Hitting for the Lions were D. Leavitt, Daiute, Wentworth and Nat Baptist, a single each.
Union scored two runs in the 2nd on a walk to Merrifield, and singles to Demmons and Mike Kee. The Lions knotted the score in the home half of the inning, when Dauite and R. Leavitt were hit by pitches and AJ Oliver drove in two runs when he reached on an error.
The Lions took a one run lead in the 4th on a walk to R. Leavitt, single to Oliver and RBI sacrifice to Alex Tomasello.
Union scored two in the top of the 5th to take the lead on a single to Griffin, double to Lynch and single to Alex Greenrose.
Hitting for Damariscotta were Wentworth, Oliver and Cheney with two singles each, and R. Leavitt, Baptist, and Tomasello one single each. Hitting for Union were Kee, Demmons and Alex Greenrose with two singles, Lynch a double, and Griffin a single.
Damariscotta took a 2-0 lead in the 1st when Baptist was hit by a pitch and Martin singled and both came home on a Wentworth single. Waldoboro tied the game in the top of the 3rd with Shane Osier and Buddy Simmons scoring on a John Murray triple.
The Lions retook the lead in the 3rd on an RBI double to Martin and RBI error put in play by Wentworth. Waldoboro scored four in the 4th to take a 6-5 lead. Madden walked, Devon Sproul and Gove reached on errors, and Poulin walked and all came home. They added a run in the 6th on a single to Brandon Soper.
Damariscotta rallied for two runs in the bottom of the 6th to tie the game. Baptist walked and stole around the horn to score. Martin walked, stole second and scored on a Wentworth double.
Hitting for Damariscotta were Daiute with a triple and two singles, Baptist, Wentworth and Everett Martin with a double and single each, and Kolt Wallace a single. Hitting for Waldoboro were John Murray a triple, Shane Osier a double, and Brandon Soper a single.
