Belfast robbed the Eagles nest for a 3-2 win in KVAC baseball action on May 1. The Lions jumped out to a 2-0 lead. Lincoln tied the game in the bottom of the fifth when Jon Pinkham scored on a Gus Hunt ground out and Chris Sullivan on a Basel White single. The Lions scored the winning run in the bottom of the seventh when J. Bartlett singled and scored on a wild pitch.
Skylar Perkins collected the win , and Sullivan Fink went the distance in the loss.
Hitting for Lincoln were White with two singles, and Andrew Greenleaf, Bradley Cross and Oakley Oliver a single each. Hitting for Belfast were J. Bartlett with three and Skylar Perkins and Dakota Payson a single each.
