Black Belt Instructor Hal Pierce has announced the promotion of two area Martial Artists in Defensive Solution’s Tao Martial Arts program.
Haley Graves of South Bristol was tested and promoted to her Yellow belt green stripe. Kaden Pendleton, of New Harbor, received a double promotion to his second and third yellow stripe.
Tao Martial Arts is a progressive mixed martial art system of Moo Duk Kwan Tae Kwon Do, Okinawan Karate, Judo and Jiu-Jitsu. Students are able to explore a blend of these various martial arts in a safe, non-competitive environment. The club is located in Newcastle and is one of five Tao Karate schools in the state.
As a member of the National Association of Professional Martial Artists (NAPMA), Defensive Solutions promotes and strives for the highest standards of age-appropriate curriculum, leadership training, child safety and security, business integrity and professional ethics.
