Boothbay boys placed five scoring runners in the top 13 to win the 2016 Mt.Valley Conference cross country championship on October 25 at UMA in Augusta. Kyle Ames placed second, Blake Erhard third, Will Perkins fifth, Rowan Kristan 10th and Bayly Gaughan-Carrasco 13th.
Wiscasset runner Brandon Goud placed fourth.
Faith Blethen won the MVC girls title in 20:57. Boothbay girls were MVC runner-ups.
