Three local cross country teams qualified for State championships on Sat., Oct. 20. Boothbay boys placed third in South Class C. Lincoln Academy boys placed fourth in South Class B. Medomak Valley girls placed fifth in North Class B. In addition, Faith and Glory Blethen, of Boothbay, placed in the top ten to qualify for the State Class C meet.
Lincoln boys placed three runners in the top 10, Sam Russ was fourth, Jarret Gulden fifth and Jojo Martin 10th. Kaleb Brackley-Prouty finished in the top 30 to also qualify as an individual.
