Boothbay boys won a cross-country meet on their home course Sept. 17, placing five scoring runners in the top eight. The Seahawks scored 25 points, followed by Lisbon, Hall-
Dale, St. Dom’s 103, and Richmond 144.
Lisbon’s Nicholas Harriman won the boys race in 17:33. Boothbay sophomore Joey Paolillo was second in 17:46. Freshman Kyle Ames placed fourth for Boothbay in 18:37,
Matt Burnham fifth in 18:45, Kyla Alamo sixth in 18:53, and Trystan Mercier eighth in 19:10 to round out Boothbay’s scoring five.

Wiscasset had three runners finish, so did not compile a team score. Angus Putnam placed 43rd in 24:57, followed by 49. Logan Orr, 27:22, and 52. Noah Jones, 31:06.
Girls results
Hall-Dale’s Emma Wilson won the girls race in 21:34. St. Dom won as a team with 27 points, followed by Boothbay 42 and Monmouth 52.
Running for Boothbay were: 2. Hannah Morley, 21:56; 10. Morgan Crocker; 11. Lincoln Hamblett, 24:16; 13. Kate Friant, 24:36; and 36. Taylor Genevieve, 28:53.
