Joe Chapman broke his own Wiscasset High School record in the long jump with a leap of 20’5.5″ in the school’s Mt. Valley Conference track and field season opener in Wiscasset, April 11. Wolverine teammate Dale Peaslee came a close second, narrowly missing the record with a leap of 20’4.5″.
