Boothbay girls’ basketball team defeated St. Dom’s 43-37 Feb. 19 in a West Class C quarterfinal match-up at the Augusta Civic Center.
The top ranked Lady Seahawks will take on fourth seed Waynflete on Thursday, Feb. 21 at 4 p.m.
Boothbay fell behind early, before scrambling back to tie the game at the half. The Seahawks were led by Morgan Crocker with 17, Abby McLellan 8 and Sarah Caron 7. St.Dom’s was led by Kelly Pomerleau 15 and Faith Grady 9. Alexandra Clarke had 16 rebounds and five blocks for Boothbay.
