Boothbay girls defeated Oceanside West 44-30 in the Busline League Large School Division B Championships Jan. 19 at Medomak Middle School.
Three Boothbay teams made the Busline finals, but only the seventh grade girls were successful in earning a championship trophy.
Boothbay seventh got off to a slow start, leading 11-5 at the quarter. They picked up steam in the second frame to lead 26-12 at the half and put the game out of reach of Oceanside.
