Boothbay Scores Big in Girls Basketball

Boothbay 53 – Wiscasset 38Boothbay girls’ basketball team won the battle of the winless Tuesday night in Boothbay. The Seahawks jumped out to a 19-7 1st quarter lead, and led 29-15 at the half, and 41-25 at the end of three.

Scoring for Boothbay were Kristin Sibley 18, Meghan Smith 10, Eleanna Peters 8, Meryl Jones 5, Jackie Markee 3, Brandie McFetridge 2, and B. Andrews 2.

Scoring for Wiscasset were Lindsey Applebee 11 (8R), Amanda Dowling 10 (7R), Maryellen True 8 (9R), Ali Johnson 6, Elegance Hartwick 2 and Carolyn Footer 1. Heather McRae had 10 rebounds, and Ali Preble 6.
