Medomak Valley Lady Panther Cheyenne Augustine closed her 2008-’09 campaign with a second place showing in the 113 lbs. weight class at the State Girls Wrestling Championship meet, held at Mt. Blue High School in Farmington earlier today.
Augustine’s podium finish led a strong contingent of local wrestlers with three Lincoln Academy teammates also placing in the meet.
LA’s Nikki Leeman (99 lbs.) and Olivia Genthner (145 lbs.) finished third in their respective divisions while Harley Rose Benner placed fourth in the 108 lbs. division.
