The fourth annual Bristol Area Lions Club Golf Tournament was held Aug. 12 at Wawenock Golf Club, despite a good dose of liquid sunshine. The event was a great success even though nobody won the hole-in-one Jeep Patriot from Newcastle Chrysler-Dodge-Jeep on the par-three third hole. The golf tournament, sponsor donations and silent auction proceeds will go to help local charities and the Bristol Area Lions scholarship fund.
