Over 200 runners competed in the 2017 Busline League cross country championship at Medomak Valley High School in Waldoboro on Oct. 11. Medomak Middle School’s Colby Brown was crowned the boys winner in 13:06, and Camden Rockport’s Elsie Hildreth the girls winner in 14:07.
Camden boys and girls won the Busline team titles. Camden boys placed five scoring runners in the top 13 to win with 30 points, followed by Great Salt Bay School with 93, Boothbay 93, Medomak 98, Troy Howard 125, Searport 140, Lincolnville 153, Appleton 209 and Drinkwater 227.
Camden girls placed placed five scoring runners in the top 12 to win with 29 points, followed by Lincolnille 33, GSB 99, Appleton 153, Medomak 163, Troy Howard 165, Boothbay 174, Drinkwater 191 and Wiscasset 249.
