More than two dozen Lincoln County residents competed in the Maine Marathon and Half Marathon on Sunday along Back Bay in Portland.
Medomak Valley senior Daniel Bubar, of Waldoboro, placed second in his age group in the Maine Marathon Half Marathon for the second straight year. Bubar’s time was 1:33:27. Bubar was 74th overall in the half-marathon.
Jerry Huber, of Boothbay, was the top Lincoln County finisher in the marathon, placing 20th in 2:59:08. Also running in the marathon were: 398. Richard Beaudoin, Damariscotta, 4:09:11; 454.
