The 10th annual Matthew Budrow Memorial Basketball Tournament will be held on Sat., Dec. 2 in Lincoln Academy’s Bailey Gymnasium. Budrow, a former student and coach at LA, was killed in a tragic snowmobile accident. Proceeds from the tournament go into a scholarship to honor his memory.
Teams participating in the tournament include Lincoln Academy, Oceanside and Nokomis.
Concessions, including homemade baked goods, will be sold throughout the day.
The schedule is as follows:
Game 1, 11 a.m. LA girls vs OS
Game 2, 12:30 p.m. LA boys vs OS
Game 3, 2 p.m. OS boys vs Nokomis
Game 4, 3:30 p.m. OS boys vx Nokomis
Game 5, 5 p.m. LA girls vs Nokomis
Game 6, 6:30 p.m. LA boys vx Nokomis.
